Dear Fellow and Prospective IFMA Members,
"12 Months in Review"
In the past 12 months, our Chapter committed to identify, promote and initiate innovative ideas and activities not only to increase member value, opportunities and involvement, but to also expand our Chapter's boundaries of infulence. We believe we have acheived our goals and objectives to increase IFMA's presence in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.
• Promote the value and benefits of the International Facility Managers
Association to all professional and associate members.
• Collaborate and leverage education opportunites.
• Increase Chapter membership and retention.
• Increase and provide educational and professional development and
opportunites to our members.
• Increase our Chapter's involvement in community service and charity
events.
We have effectively communicated to all members on a continual basis through a variety of media: voice message, email, mailings, website and networking. In order to maximize the Chapter's strength, we involved our members and clearly identified their needs, wants and support requirements. Our membership growth and conscientious membership support has been part of a sustained drive for excellence. We have made significant strides during the last several years.
• Increased our Chapter's memberhship by 60 members.
• Sustaining patrons and sponsors continued their support.
• Efforts between our Chapter and Arizona State University continue
to grow strong.
• Development and support of the IFMA Student Chapter at Arizona
State University.
• Redesigned the Chapter website, highlighting user-friendly features.

• Continue to host monthly member meetings, tours and mixers; with
excellent guest speakers and showcase state-of-the-art facilities.
• Facilitate and support Green Peer Group "Facility Quality Reviews."
• Expanded the diversity of programs and networking opportunities.
• Community involvement and donation support increased in the past year.
• Continue to collaborate with over 25 professional association Presidents,
representing over 6,000 members locally and 10,000 nationally to leverage
and expand our Chapter's boundaries and member benefits.
As one of the top association chapters in the world, the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA is dedicated to continuous improvement of the Facility Management Profession by providing relevant educational and networking opportunities for our membership while supporting the community as a whole.
