Dear Fellow and Prospective IFMA Members,

After a year of planning and anticipation, IFMA’s World Workplace 2011 in Phoenix has come and gone. What a great event!!! The opening and closing speakers Bjorn Lomborg and Christopher Gardner were outstanding. The opening night at Chase Field was fantastic, taking place down on the playing field. Having a number of our own vendors show casing their company and skill set on the World Workplace EXPO floor. The Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA Board was very proud to be the host chapter for this event.

At this time; the Phoenix Chapter and I want to personally thank the World Workplace Committee and all of the volunteers for the excellent job they did to make sure everyone at this event had a wonderful time… Also, we really want to thank these four chapter members for their exceptional leadership and additional efforts to make the Phoenix Chapter shine during this event; Peggy Lundeen, Mary Thul, Jomary Sullivan and Beth Ocker.

There are so many exciting events in store for the Chapter for the remainder of this year and into 2012. Our next event will be the 2011 Chapter Holiday Party, At the Wrigley Mansion, Dinner Thursday December 15, 5:30 pm -9:30 pm, Entertainment, White Elephant Gift Exchange and much more! For those of you who haven't attended our Holiday Party at the Wrigley you're in for a real treat! There is no better venue that we've found for this year end celebration. The food is delicious and the view is spectacular! “We hope to see you there.”

As one of the top association chapters in the world, the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA is dedicated to continuous improvement of the facility management profession by providing relevant educational and networking opportunities for our membership while supporting the community as a whole.
